How to make a Portable DS Charger! HD

A step by step tutorial, showing you how to make your own portable charger for a Nintendo DS. The concept could be modified to suit other devices as well! The charger is shown charging towards the end of the video. I have had to change the soundtrack due to a copyright issue, strangely it is the same music, but youtube are happy to allow their version. Only issue is some recorded sound is lost at the end during the demonstration, which shows the device working, and charging when the DS is turned on. Music is not my own, it is: Bring me to Life by Evanescence If you have any questions, or would like advice on modifying the charger in any way, please feel free to contact me or leave a comment.. Please be very careful when using the soldering iron which gets EXTREMELY HOT and make sure you have an adult to help you with it. The items you will need are listed in the video but are as follows: 2x tamiya male battery connectors (find them on ebay) 1x battery case that will take 2 AA batteries 2x AA 1.2 V batteries RECHARGEABLE 1x 7.2 V from RC car 5cm of any wire a soldering iron and some solder ( not alu sol) pliers stanely knife or wire stripers

A convenient way to enjoy music from your iPod, iPhone or MP3 player! The kit includes: USB adapter, USB charger, and multiple adapters for charging both iPad 1 and 2, iPod, iPhone, Blackberry and most other mobile phones. The durable case has an attached carabiner which allows you to clip onto your bag. The padded interior secures and protects your MP3 player. It comes with a rechargeable lithium battery via solar panel or USB charger cable. Check out our product page! tinyurl.com
